Yeah, I meant before the other day - there's a Maida Vale sessions video with 70k-ish views so it might now be new to the Royal Blood hardcores here so it never got posted or w*nked over.

Anyone going to live at Leeds on Saturday? Quite a few acts I wouldn't mind seeing so bought a ticket today. The only problem is all the fucking queues to get into venues.

Someone I know from Leeds is asking me to go but I dunno if I can be arsed with getting there. Quite a few acts I wanna see (Royal Blood, Frank Turner, Yuck, PABH, Los Campesinos! and Albert Hammond Jr.), so it would be worth it. Are the queues bad?

For those acts yeah. Los campesinos and Albert Hammond are in the same venue so that's cool. I think yuck are next door too. Frank will be on same time as lc 9:30. Pabh are on at the same time as ah Jr miles away. Royal blood are on at 6:30. So you could see royal blood then head up to catch yuck. Pabh and ah Jr both start at 11pm just look at the schedule online and see if you can make it work for you. Last year people were queuing for 3 hours for the 1975 at the cockpit and some didn't get in.

Yeah I've looked at the schedule and planned it out, so I knew those acts clashed. The person asking me to go os only really going for Frank and his queue will be fucking huge, won't it? Plan was to see Royal Blood, Yuck, LC and then AHJ (other friend I'm going with is obsessed with The Strokes). Now Frank's messed that up.

They're one of 'those' bands though aren't they, when I went to see them in Sheffield, me and my mate turned up about 10 mins after doors opened and the queue was down the street and round the corner, never seen anything like it. Every other sold out academy gig I've been to, everyone just strolls in, max I've seen is about a 20 person queue right when doors opened for Editors

Don't bother going to the O2 for any gigs, people waste their whole day queuing for Rudimental, silly.

Lots of great acts on & student prices in the SU's. Great day out & prepared to be drunk all day in the sun. End up on the boat in the roundabout for some Brothers cider

Yup, we had guest passes so went in the back door. They were shit. Although I'd never heard their stuff beforehand, so didn't know what to expect. They were far more commercial than I thought they would be. Yeah Frank's queue will be big. You'd probably have to queue for the act on 2 before him. Think that means you'd miss yuck and would probably have to leave royal blood early. I'm watching royal blood then trying to get in. Started the day at the brudenell to get nice and pissed on cheap beer. Great venue, saw metallica there in 08. The night before I saw them at Leeds fest, it's a social club.
