dentalplan
Is there still some acts to come sunday NME?http://www.readingfestival.com/line-up I think there could still be one on on Disclosure and Courteeners days as there's usually 11 acts or more. Gerard Way could get a bumper set to negate that though.
justanothername
Saturday and Sunday (Leeds) got stronger for me yet Friday just remained the same. On the plus side it looks like Gogol Bordello won't be finishing early as that Lock Up lineup is full. Means I'll probably miss Mongol Horde for Blink Try to catch some of it though then do a quick dash to Blink (if that is possible) but it does mean I can probably squeeze in A Day To Remember and The Wonder Years. Gonna be a lot of running that day

I'd think so, Gerard Way opening seems a bit low considering he will get a decent crowd

mattgimmeshelter
I want to start a discussion How do you deal with those shit friends of yours which just want to stay at the campsite all day, leading you to have to leave the group to go and see your savages/crosses on your own. Do you tend to go with the crowd, or have the internal locus of control and venture out and see bands alone? Looks like i'm going to be doing alot of that this year, not sure if I mind that much. Damn you efestivals for getting me into obscure (but great bands). Doomed to going to the festival with people who won't come and see royal blood / drenge etc because they've never heard of them. Take a brother who doesn't have time to listen to new acts and tell him all the ones you wanna see are the best. Pr just go off alone, I'm planning on doing that at Glasto. However the majority of my large group this year are planning to spend all of friday in the dance tent. I can't do that.. I can't conform. Last year I loads of acts by my self and while waiting around is boring, when acts are playing you don't tend to give a shit. Why let your friends ruin your festival? Also when I told my mates to meet up for an acts they wouldn't show up so I gave up and just saw who I wanted to and had a great time. I've even been to gigs on my own and they have been great. I suspect that this year is going to be the same for me as I'll be alone all the time expect and night where you need to be with your mates to have fun. It is also more fun when you bump into them in a crowd
nofunciona
If you're struggling for things on the sunday, or even if youre not, vheck out Sivu. Been added to FR stage.

sjseabass
I woulda seen Savages but I made the shit decision to see Eminem I feel you man, I did the same . Now it looks like the Lock Up isn't finishing early on the Sunday, the assumption remains that the Dance stage is, so as to avoid Disclosure, right? So Klaxons -> Mongol Horde -> Disclosure should be just about feasible?

mattgimmeshelter
Thing is, since this announcement my days have become pretty full too.. I wasn't originally worried about the concept of seeing tonnes of bands alone, but this year it seems it's probably gonna happen alot. I just don't understand those people who refuse to not even check out someone they've never heard of... I spent all day Saturday by myself last year, most of Sunday (excluding Chase & Status) and a bit Friday (Fall Out Boy, NIN) by myself. Still had a great time and when they were there it didn't change anything. You'll be fine

I know the feeling, unless it's on the dance stage and you can hum a tune they've heard in a nightclub theres no chance in persuading.
