justanothername
I'm going to be honest here but the new Lower Than Atlantis track actually surprised me and I enjoyed it, bit naff at some points but I think that it is decent enough
dentalplan
The Orwells/Fat Whites double bill is going to be full of Turner acolytes throwing abuse.
TenInchToenaiIs
NME's review of The Orwells album states they're MUCH better on record than live. What. I always thought it was the other way round Edit: Oh wait it's cos they slagged off the arctic monkeys. Makes sense Edited June 2, 2014 by TenInchToenaiIs
dentalplan
I thought the album was surprisingly good as I'd always assumed they were more of a live act too. The author of that review wrote a review of one of their live shows in February and wasn't too impressed so that probably adds up.

They're very impressive live though, not listened to the album yet, plan on picking it up at some point this week though

dentalplan
Not really. People aren't complaining about Ryan Lewis subbing. Only Macklemore.

The Placid Casual
Well that tour is an absolute bitch, the closest venue is just over 80 miles away
Yellow_Fellow
to be fair to them they're hardly in the best position to pull off a prolific UK tour, what with being from Aus and all
rawaudioinput
And they're doing a lot better than a lot of other bands; next to no one plays in Hereford
The Placid Casual
I'm just annoyed that they aren't at least playing Manchester or Liverpool, like most acts do

TheSilence
Hardly anyone plays Liverpool. We don't have many decent venues.

justanothername
Hardly anyone plays Liverpool. We don't have many decent venues. I thought the selection at the O2 academy wasn't bad. Better than the Sheffield one Sheffield for me goes up and down with the amount of acts that come, when they come a lot of them do at one time then there is nothing. Loads decided to come down during exam time this year Would like some more acts and Manchester and Nottingham are close but those trains are a pain in the neck (some days, there are no returns 11 so it is really annoying)
The Placid Casual
Move. It was one of the reasons why I chose to go to uni in London
Gucci Piggy
I considered applying to London and Birmingham because of that. But I didn't think I'd get in anywhere in London and didn't get the required AS grades for Brum damn it. And Newcastle is poo for gigs I think. normalperson
at least you don't live in Jersey and have to get on a plane whenever you want to go to a gig
