I'm not so sure on this opinion about The Strokes; that they'll sub festivals from now on. Is it based on that free track they put up?

Nope, it wasn't a co-headline thing. I think it came about as people were desperate to prove co-headliners happen all the time at R&L and they even mentioned NIN & Pumpkins and Linkin Park & Blink as co-headlining. Pulp did get a longer set back then tho but it was probably due to Strokes not having much material at that point.

Paramore's new song is absolutely dire. It sounds like it's by Carly-Rae Jepsen. It's absolute dog crap. I think it will get a tonne of Radio play though.

They are keen to give them a bump but unless the new album is really popular I can't see them being eager to push them up 2 to a sub slot. They may have soft spots for bands but soft spots rarely get you to the top two. 3rd like Bombay last year makes more sense to me
