No chance of that for me! I'd go with Metallica, Blur, The Arctics

My guess at the 3 headliners at the moment would be Mumford and Sons, Metallica, and Blur.

Download will get Avenged, then a mix of maybe Prodigy, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Def Leppard, Biffy Clyro and whoever the latest reunion hype is

V will get Arctics and Killers/Kasabian/Rihanna/Daft Punk/Snow Patrol

T will get Biffy, Metallica, and arctics

Etc etc

The Naked and Famous

Haim

Saturday

Metallica

Jack White

it's realistic and it would sell tickets.

Friday

Queens Of The Stone Age - Weak headliner IMO; far better subbing

The Vaccines - Crap but about right

The Gaslight Anthem - Too high; their dates at Troxy aren't sold out. Maybe subbing NME?

Passion Pit - As much as I love them this is far too high; played The Forum on their last tour; try 7th

The Hives - About right, although could go 6th

Lucy Rose - Why is Lucy Rose making all of these predicted line-ups; too high, probably 6 down on NME

NME

Bombay Bicycle Club - From 3rd to NME headliner is a bit of a demotion; don't think they'll be back until they sub

The Naked and Famous - Great band but nowhere near big enough to sub NME; probably 6th/7th

Haim - Probably

Saturday

Metallica - Overbooked and questionable if they appeal to the R&L demographic anymore

Jack White - Good

Beady Eye - Too high up and far better bookings available

Rise Against - Too high, move them down a slot

The Joy Formidable - Great band but too high, try 7th/8th

We are the In Crowd - Need to be lower but preferably not there

NME

Dizzie Rascal - Played 3rd on main in 2010 and rumoured to sub main this year; it's not going to happen

You Me At Six - Would be a strong NME headliner; sold out Wembley Arena's standing instantly, subbing is not going to happen

Bastille (They will probably smash it this year) - Sold out his Great Escape show at Brighton Dome, tickets for his dates at Shepherd's Bush Empire are going for £80 on Getmein; on the trajectory he is on it's more likely for him to have this slot on main stage next year

Sunday

Arctic Monkeys

Bloc Party - Brilliant band but on a steep decline; more likely to headline NME

Enter Shikari

Crystal Castles - Haven't increased in size to warrant the bump; I don't reckon they'll be rebooked unless they get bigger or begin to decline

All Time Low

Cage The Elephant - Probably a slot lower

Palma Violets - Possibly

NME

pixies

The Darkness - Awful booking; so many better choices out there

Miles Kane - About right

I can imagine that it would sell well, there's alot there for everyone!

Looks pretty tired and outdated; wouldn't sell me or my friends a ticket and I like most of the bands (just seen almost all of them before)

Here's what I've got:

fa2ab.jpg

To make it a little less wishful thinking you could bump The Prodigy to headliner with Dizzee subbing, sub Jack White in instead of The Strokes, replace Pixies with Vampire Weekend/The Smashing Pumpkins and replace Tinie Tempah with Shikari and put BMTH in their current position.

And I didn't include in the poster:

Friday

BBC Radio 1 Dance: Rudimental

BBC Radio 1Xtra: DMX

Saturday

BBC Radio 1 Dance: Nero

BBC Radio 1Xtra: Professor Green

Sunday

BBC Radio 1 Dance: DJ Fresh

BBC Radio 1Xtra: 2 Chainz

If TITP get those 3 as headliners I will weep with joy

Paramore - Their new singles are charting poorly; there is still hope

Enter Shikari - They won't sub; they struggle to sell out Hammersmith

You Me At Six - About right

Palma Violets - People won't know who they are in a year

Django Django - No one cares about these guys either

The Stone Roses - Probably doing Glasto

The Vaccines

Kaiser Chiefs - What makes you such a pessimist that you think this will happen?

Bastille

Haim - Depends how much they blow up, don't reckon it'll be this much though

Metallica

Queens of the Stone Age

Placebo

Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Haven't got smaller to my knowledge

Frank Turner

Horrible lineup, but seems to be the way things are going.

Yup, i don't think arctics are going to reading. They'll be just as appreciated at v, even thou it was said they were rubbish last time. I expect biffy at T. metallica with new album and blur at reading, Mumford would be my guess for last header at the minute.

I can't see past T booking Muse, and iow for that matter,

I think Arctics will be the best headliner for Reading; would've been 5 years since their last performance and will have a new album under their belt. I reckon IOW will get Mumford.

i'm not saying they wouldnt be, just saying i think another fest will get them, and you know what readings like with exclusives. oh and they were shit last time, so actually i am saying they wouldnt be the best headliner.

That would be a ludicrous turnaround for T to go from Mumfords, Rihanna, Killers to Biffy, Metallica, Arctics. The demographic just isn't there for that any more.

I could see Metallica, Arctics/Mumfords (whichever isn't at V), Paramore for Reading though.

Is everyone predicting Watch The Throne just because we have Eminem this year? I'd like to think he's a bit of a blip from the rock/indie headliners, and we'll be back to normal next year.

They would be a massive booking for reading next year, and they've improved tons.

Not saying they wouldn't be in terms of sales, and good, if they've improved hopefully it wouldn't be a shit show. I like them, but like I said I reckon another fest or fests will snap them up and reading will not like that

Well T will give biffy a slot I'm sure if they're still touring (and they will be), arctics fit the demographic, and yes maybe not Metallica, that was more a random guess, but if not then a more indie pop headliner there.

Hasn't only 1 person predicted watch the thrones? Is abit out there and in my opinion very unlikely, so yeah, sorry to whoever that was but that lineup was abit too what you're hoping for rather then realistic.

I suggested Watch the Throne might be a possibility due to the new bookers who seem to be booking a lot of new hip/hop and dance acts but i think next year the headliners will be rock/ metal especially with loads of people being disappointed with eminem

The shows gone home unfortunately they will be touring solo until their new album is out and It won't be 2014 apparently. In 2014 kanye is releasing a solo album so I HIGHLY doubt it.
