sjseabass
Download: 3 from Biffy / Tool / NIN / Kiss / A7X. Too soon for Arcade Fire back at Reading, only 4 years and one new album. Good chance for Glasto.

Good chance for Glasto. They've blown up a lot since they last headlined though, so I'd have thought they could be one of few exceptions to that rule. Don't be shock if Global or Cream also go for therm. If they play Glasto, Bestival and a scot fest, one of these are easily possible

Asdaprice
VCK you have seen the state of the nme stage this year? Have yourself some Metallica and Qotsa instead of Kanye and flaming lips and I reckon you've got yourself a likely 2014 at this moment in time! the wonderwhy
Apart from those everything else seems about right The QOTSA album doesn't really need to be huge. They're already a solid sub, they just need a fresh batch of popular new material (and perhaps a couple of sold out O2 arena nights) & they'll be ready to headline. That said, I'm sure the album will be huge anyway. As dentalplan keeps saying, The Prodigy aren't going to headline next year if they whore themselves out to loads of fests. As they've got the new album out & done Download & Creamfields as exclusives the last two years, its highly likely they'll be at a lot of fests. RHCP are woking on a new album, or at least plan to, I believe.

Gucci Piggy
Although I don't think QOTSA will headline next year, I think the album's shaping up to be massive. With the personnel appearing on it, and the amount of hype it's getting, I can see it doing very well. Saying that, I'd absolutely love them to headline, and I think they'd nail it, as I think Biffy will this year.

Slow burners who have steadily gone up festival bills. Not a major fan of any of them though.
