I'm gonna guess 2010

I don't actually know, genuinely curious. :P

Are Fleetwood Mac really going to be around next year?

They're touring from now until October this year (with only August off), and that's covering the whole of the US, a load of UK dates & a majority of Europe.

Why on earth would they bother?

I get that feeling but they could probably be persuaded into a final show. Not confident enough to stick them in my prediction anyway. At least, I don't think I did.

Yeah, I genuinely think its 2010 :P I guess it depends if you're including the small/medium fests too.

Hmm, maybe, but surely they're more likely for the American fests they don't seem to be doing this year?

Kings of Leon appearing in surprisingly few predictions. New album is out after Summer, in which they're only doing the one UK festival. Think they'll be at a couple next year.

I was gonna put them in my R&L guess, but them & Arctics is so 2009 & I'd much rather Arctics.

I went along with the idea that they would do TITP and then they could do their own shows around it... maybe a couple at the Olympic Park or something.

They did V in 2010. 2009 it would be.

2012: R&L & T

2011: IOW & Rockness

2010: V/T

Shows how much overkill though:

2012: R&L/T

2011: IOW/Rockness

2010: V/T

2009: Glastonbury

2008: Creamfields

2007: V/T/Glastonbury/IOW

2006: V

2005: R&L/Oxygen/T/Glastonbury

2004: Glastonbury/T/V/R&L

Can't think of many other acts with a run like that. Maybe Dizzee Rascal/The Prodigy or Chase and Status.

Dizzee Rascal's done: 2012: Parklife/Wakestock/Kendal 2011: V 2010: Bestival, R&L, Global, Oxygen, Glastonbury 2009: Creamfields, V, Glastonbury, Rockness 2008: R&L, Glastonbury 2007: V, Oxygen, T 2006: R&L 2005: V, T 2004: R&L

Just you wait. The Vaccines will outdo that.

2013: Glasto, V. plus Rock Ness, Boardmasters.

2012: IOW, R+L, T. plus Field Day, R1BW.

2011: Glasto, IOW, R+L, T. plus Latitude, R1BW.

And also, the big outdoor shows for Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, RHCP, Stone Roses and now The Rolling Stones.

Apparently they were gutted that they couldn't do glastonbury this year and now have high interest in playing next year! Neil believed it was pretty much signed and confirmed.

Pretty much what I would predict right now - but maybe Paramore or the XX instead of Prodigy who I think will headline some other place, maybe Bestival, IOW, T, or V

I was going to put them down for RockNess but I didn't as i think T will have them back next year and like lucky pointed out when they do T they do V without R&L, Glasto, RockNess or IOW shows.

Took my time on this (Revision is clearly going well) and I've thought out a prediction for next year, after stupidly challenging myself not to look at other people's predictions:

R&L - Arctic Monkeys, Metallica, QOTSA

V FEST - Mumford & Sons, Rihanna

GLASTO - Kasabian, Stone Roses, Lady Gaga

DOWNLOAD - Tool, A7X, Green Day

TITP - Kings Of Leon, Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys

IOW - Biffy Clyro, Kanye West, Radiohead

BESTIVAL - Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Manic Street Preachers

LATITUDE - Primal Scream, Frank Turner, My Bloody Valentine

What's your favourite set there?

I'd go to all of those bar Download...

Bestival, Latitude & Glasto have 3 headliners I'd love to see.

R&L have two headliners I'd love see, the other I'm not too keen but would be cool to see

IOW & V have two headliners I'd see

TITP has one I'd love to see, one I'd like to see purely for their old stuff, and one I'm not fussed on.

Err, I'd say R&L closely followed by Bestival.

I'd probably get Bestival ticket first then scratch around for a QOTSA day ticket for Leeds.

I feel like making a tally for the 'most predicted acts for R+L 2014' but I can't really be bothered.

Would Arctic Monkeys/Metallica/QOTSA be the most predicted? Or anyone know roughly who would be?
