Its a huge gig for arctic monkeys as glasto with the big crowd, most of the gig will be on mainstream tv, worldwide audience, snippets of the new album.

Will be interesting if they nail it in the same way radiohead, coldplay and muse did to go to the next level.

It's different though because those bands were all on their way up when they headlined, whereas Arctic Monkeys were at their peak of popularity from circa 2005 to 2007, during which they headlined Glastonbury, and have maintained a level of size since.

Actually on the subject of Chile. Pearl Jam were really good at Lolla Chile the other night. Want them back and could see their announcement going down really well, but couldn't see it happening if Metallica play.

Also they'd have to play Chile again.
