I dunno I think it makes it more likely, shows they're interested and they're big enough to headline glasto, would be a fairly weak booking though

This was also on the article:

"Well eFestivals is fairly sure it won't happen next year either, as we're pretty sure who Michael Eavis has lined-up to headline next year"

Obviously Kasabian have just probably lined themselves up to be someone to fall back on if one of the headliners pulls out, but it seems they are not one of the 3 who have been lined up.

Yeah, but everyone's prediction is biased towards what they want anyway

I don't think this year will necessarily set a precedent. Besides Phoenix are a great band, and getting Skrillex on an exclusive is a bit of a coup, despite his noise sounding like an elephant raping a dying cat.
