the wonderwhy
Expecting a slagging for this but I don't care. All Time Low are brilliant live (': they have a good banter and they're just a really fun band. And they have a song called Stella about the beer, so I would get into them because they are a good show for a singalong and a dance :L I want to get more into The Vaccines, TDCC and Foster The People and stuff. Yellow_Fellow
Yep, I can see Tyler going all Johnny Rotten on us. I know they're going to give us a bloody great rap set, but I meant what material are they going to use? I mean, there are 3/4 groups within Odd Future each with their own (albeit in some cases limited) material. Then you've got Tyler, Earl, Hodgy etc with their own 'solo' stuff. I can't wait- going to be a highlight.
the wonderwhy
Legit, the crowd was similar to Your Demise's last year! They usually play 1 or 2 from Tyler's newest, OF Tape vol.2 will be hyped out, there are the classics (Drop, EARL) and MellowHype tracks always get a shoe in. Use setlist.fm. Cydonia_90
SBTRKT are definitely worth checking out. Saw them last year supporting Friendly Fires, they were brilliant!
Bobs
Pretty simple as they all only have one album But as far as best songs go FTP- Pumped Up Kicks, Houdini, Call It What You Want Vaccines- Tiger Blood, Norgaard, If You Wanna, Post Break-Up Sex TDCC- Something Good Can Work, What You Know, Cigarettes In The Theater
moz4pm
I'd also recommend going to see Coheed and Cambria. They headlined the NME stage a few years back and I watched them never having heard them before and they were absolutely amazing, very talented musicians. mrtourette
I have a confession to make - I was making a festival Spotify playlist and added some Florence for the missus, out of interest listened to her first single (something about a fist and a kiss) for the first time ever and found it to be most agreeable. Is there a counselling group for people like me? Edited March 14, 2012 by mrtourette

ar1
My favourite part about line-up day is to have a look at the bands I'm gonna be trying to get into over the next few months. This year it's... Deaf Havana Angels & Airwaves Bombay Bicycle Club The Shins Band of Skulls All Time Low So what's everyone's blank spots on the line up so far? jump
does that really matter? It was hardly the point of my post, it was six years ago, so sorry I forgot the placing
evilduck
I'll be checking out The Shins, Coheed and Cambria, Azealia Banks and Katy B. I'm intrigued by everyone saying Odd Future are great live, but I'm really not into rap or hip hop so I don't know whether to give them a miss or not.. KingOfTheRodeo
I'd completely forgotten about Coheed & Cambria until they were announced. I used to love 'A Favour House Atlantic' when i was about 13, I had it on a Kerrang CD and it was one of my favourite songs but never really listened to them properly. Listening to them now and I do like them, love the lead singers voice for some reason. Looking forward to it.
dirtymookie
I've still got a stack of those Kerrang cd's from when I was a kid. Although mine are full of older stuff than Coheed, bands like Ministry, Terrorvision, Alice In Chains. Might give them a revisit tonight actually, goin all misty eyed for my youth! Vaccines have a massive slot, but I'm confident they can pull it off- especially as their new album should be out early summer. You'll probably like Bombay & Mystery Jets as well if you like those
The Mean Bean
I've heard odd songs by The Shins and Blood Red Shoes and like what I hear, now I know they're playing I'll be giving them both a listen. I've only got The Horrors' most recent album, apparently they've got some other prior material that sounds different but still good, so I'll be giving that a sniff as well. I've never listened to any Miike Snow at all but I've heard a lot of praise for him so if I see any of his stuff in record shops then I'll be snapping it right up. Been meaning to listen to Band Of Skulls since I accidentally stumbled upon their show in 2010 and massively enjoyed myself, why it's taken me this long to listen to them is beyond me but I'll be doing it asap. Buko
I've just started listening to Bombay Bicycle Club after been shocked seeing them that high, all though I have no idea how big they I just saw they were mid NME last year and it was a huge jump. All though after watching this video I love them and they seem to have a huge crowd but are they actually big enough for 3rd or is it just me?
