Getting an early bird ticket is a good idea. Lets you camp where ever you want and if its sunny then its all the better! Dont camp near toilets, by the sunday they are stinking. Try not to camp on hills or too near the pathways. The last two times I brought more food then I thought so maybe bring less than you expect but thats just my opinion, you may want more. Hope thats some help to you

Agree with above, getting an early bird was the best thing I ever did, it's so spacious and chilled on the Wednesday in comparison to Thursday onwards, just gives you time to set up and get things organised.

Take plenty of bog roll aswell, valuable stuff!

Every morning when you wake up no matter how rough yoou feel, get yourself to the toilets for a quick piss and teeth brush, get a burger down your throat and most importantly, get that first can of beer drunk as soon as possible, your only gonna feel worse the longer you leave it and its the beer that keeps you going, think of it as fuel

Take a decent sized bottle to put water in so youre not slogging to the taps whenever you want water for stuff.

Take more beer than you'd think you need, it's surprising how easy it is to get through when you're there.

Try a bit of everything on the night, piccadilly party, oxfam tent, relentless stage (even though it's dire imo) and the silent disco. Also try and see an act on every stage.

You get one for camping when you get there, then when you're inside you have to queue for a few hours to get the over 18 one (the line last year stretched as far as the eye could see)

The shuttlebus to tesco is at the yellow entrance.

I cba getting a map up :P

I didn't see any locals really, the festival is in a field in the middle of no where.

Get a locker (usually about £15), you can put half of your cash, train ticket home (if you've got one) and even charge your mobile in it.

So, no matter how plastered you get on an evening you can still have a drink and some fod the next day!
