What would you add to the line-up to enhance it?

All. I was thinking with a lot of negative comments upon the line-up, what would people add to the lineup to either

A - Enhance the line-up for them.

B - Make those who havent buy a ticket.

C - Going forward (2013 onwards) what would you change about the festival in order to create a better undercard.

No changing in positions of Bands already announced.

But I woulda tried my utmost best to get Courteeners, Miles Kane, Reverend and the makers, the vaccines twisted wheel the enemy, to be the kasabian day something like

I'll get the ball rolling.

To the NME I'd book a few older type bands with cult stauts, such as Ash, Dinosaur Jr, Rancid, Dropkick Murpheys, Feeder, see if you could get them to play lower down, possibly to full tents.

I'd also put a few runs together on the NME to allow for the crowd to be split at times when the mainstage is less heavy / less mainstream.

Going forward, I'd like to see an outdoor second stage added to improve the quality (status)of the acts that play currently on the second stage.

I'd also keep the NME tent for the up and coming type acts that you see on there through the day, this would help to increase the popularity of newer bands and allow a faster track to get up to headline status, especially when combined with an outdoor second stage.

With the slots left to fill too small for significant improvement, and not rearranging the line-up, there is no way to make this festival worth the £200+ I presume they're charging.

I'd have put in a couple of bigger bands on the main stage that don't play Reading every single year, like The Hives, The Specials, Pixies, Garbage, so you don't end up seeing the same bands every year in a row. Don't get me wrong, I really love the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Crystal Castles and The Vaccines, but I saw them all at Reading last year, and a few other festivals too.

Well most of my tastes wouldn't sell tickets. I'd love to see the who take a spot mainstage, possibly the magic numbers.

Later on some chiptune in the dance tent would be nice.

Overall, I would kill for a late night jazz tent in one of the camps though. Just the ticket after a hard days rocking, some smooth jazz to smoke a cigar and have a few brandys.

A half-decent sub for The Cure is the key thing missing.

Just a few more bands that I really like on the undercard - was really hoping for/expecting Lostprophets and Korn, so if we'd got those two plus one or two from Funeral For A Friend, A Day To Remember, The Pretty Reckless, The Used, Young Guns, Madina Lake and Kids In Glass Houses I would be much happier.

With a bit of luck, some of the smaller bands on that list may yet be announced.

decent sub for the cure. Or some older popular bands like feeder/sum 41 to be added. Tenacious D should've been announced straight away IMO, they'd make a surprisingly big difference to the appeal of the poster.

Seriously though, I would just probably have a little less, Enter Shikari, The Cribs, TDCC, Crystal Castles, All Time Low, YM@6, Paramore (personally cant stand them, thought they were dire in 2010) and have a few of Korn, Garbage, Pixies, Jack White, Wu-Tang Clan, Feeder, The Subways, Dropkick Murphys, Cage The Elephant, The Hives, DFA1979 etc and i wouldnt have BBC or The Vaccines that high either id have them 4th or 5th

Oh and swapping paramore with someone good (i don't particularly like them, but bloc party under kasabian and florence under cure would make it seem stronger, or just pixies obviously) and moving vaccines/bbc down one...
