The Cure Setlist

How long do we think The Cure will get? Im guessing the 2 hour slot. Also wondering what type of setlist they'll play, something similar to the bestival one? i'll be so happy if we get a night like this. Also will the Foo's get 2 hours or is it normally just one band that gets it?

Foos are definitely getting 2 hours and Melvin said that he wants The Cure to play for at least 2 hours, so it looks likely that both will get 2 hours.

I guess the setlist will be quite like Bestival but with around 5 tracks taken out to fit into the 2 hours (that is if they don't choose to carry on playing over their allotted 2 hours).

I think they'll play for 2 hours. And see how far they can push it. Technically GnR got the plug pulled at 12am. so In theory (and i'm guessing here) that 12 is the absolute dead cut off point. So I can see them playing for as long into that as they can. Just more professionally than GnR did it.

It probably means nothing, but on the poster, as well as using the logo from their earlier albums, they've got the shadow of the logo for Wish. Makes sense as it's 20 years since that was released, think the setlist might have more of an emphasis on that album?

Normal sets are much longer than 2 hours so hopefully it will be similar to Bestivals 2 and a half...

It is 20 years since Wish so expect a few from there I would say.

In the interview in NME Robert Smith said that their going to be playing a greatest hits setlist as he's aware it's not going to a crowd of their fans. So I think we can expect all the big hits without any emphasis on a particular album or new material.

He also suggested thats its reasonably likely he'll make a guest appearance for not in love with crystal castles which a brilliant tune
