Anyway, it always interesting to see that Neil speculating of an andie direction (and saying it pure guesswork combined with common sense) has invigorated this forum more than the anything even remotely official.

Not that France being confirmed and lady knebworth saying it's going ahead isn't compelling.

would be a big risk imo - though obviously if the other two headliners are better than Queen/FNM then I cant see much complaining. Guess it could be seen as making it up to the fans who bought tix this year

Also all both Faith no More and Queen played a couple of decent sized shows each to fill in where as KISS only played the forum to a couple of thousand people. They still owe the UK one...or two!

RATM to bring out a new album is showing signs of life jump! KISS were on bill that failed massively, then went onto book small shows, you work it out.

Before they pulled out of their Euro 2012 tour and later announced as an exclusive for Knebworth, they were due to play Sweden Rock, Bilbao BBK, Sonisphere and a few others. It wouldn't surprise me if they are going to fulfill these.

Rumour is that they are hitting Europe in May and doing a full arena tour plus festivals throughout May and June, depending when Sonisphere is, I can see Knebworth being the grand finale on the Euro tour.

There is no guarantee that they are going to make a new album, they've been saying the same thing since they reformed.

Unless Soni manage to get RATM on an exclusive, it's not going to happen.

Kiss were on a lineup next to debatable headliners. They didn't go on to book small shows at all, they played a charity show at the forum, so get your facts right.

Do Kiss still have the appeal? Whilst there are a lot of factors that caused soni to fail, I do think that kiss are one of those bands that whilst a big name, don't pull in the punters in the uk anymore. When they headlined download, they were the big pull, and download nearly fell on its arse that year. Don't get me wrong, seem to be big in Europe, but as a uk drawer I'd say kiss have had their day.
