Almost every media outlet in France that leaked Maiden has said SOAD. Not my suggestion but its the only one they all seem to be making. With Tool apparently almost playing but yet again deciding not to tour. Serj just toured Francecas the rumours were about - same promoters that did his tour soni france and he'd been doing plenty of press so could have let slip?

There were more but I can't remember them.

Should also be noted that "leak" that had Pearl Jam at Soni Poland on June 15th had Volbeat supporting them, we know Volbeat are doing Download on the Friday, so that fits in with that assuming they do Nova Rock on the Sunday. 3 festivals in 3 days would be possible as they are doing 3 the weekend before and are likely late night at Nova Rock again anyways and are early at Poland.

That would be a disaster IMO Gaz, firstly it clashes with Rock AM Ring and Rock IM Park so acts playing those fests would only be able to play either Soni France or Italy and then UK on top? Plus it would finish the Monday and then people would be travelling to Download on the Weds? As the majority of people do arrive on the Weds, they would be just too close from my experience.

When I was younger I used to do V and Reading the same week or SSW and V and they were a killer. Download and Soni attract an older audience that I couldn't see doing that.

If they got NIN to headline the Friday I would be chuffed... NIN, Linkin Park and SOAD with Paramore subbing would be a very strong lineup but can't imagine would be especially hard to book... after all where are those bands gonna play now other than Soni?

Wish Soni France would announce their other headliner but guess if it is a band like SOAD they will probably want to announce a whole tour rather than just one date. Really wish they would just confirm Soni England. Looks like it will happen around the same time as the Finland date.
