Went to see it yesterday. Winslet was indeed very impressive in her role. I don't think the 3D did her justice though.

my daughter and her mates have seen it twice now in 3D, and I dont expect it to be their last.

im reading kermodes book at the moment, and coincidentally, the chapter I am on is actually discussing the "upcoming" 3D remake for Titanic. he talks about the time he met one of the major execs behind Titanic, he spends quite a while lecturing her on what is wrong with titanic, she sits patiently taking it all in, and very calmly replies "and do you know what is wrong with you Mark?"

"no" - he replies.

absolutely spot on.
