BigStu1987
I can't take credit for recording this, but I was there and he was awesome! Looking forward to seeing him on the Saturday, hopefully he won't clash with anyone else I want to see!

AcademicPistol
It's as close as the 'real' GnR, which is a tribute with Axl Rose.
fred_flintstone
I can't imagine many people like this band, Im not a fan, ive seen them live ages ago supporting Hundred Reasons and thought they were very average, but I really like their last song, so im posting it up Kids In Glass Houses - Diamond Days Has a summertime feel to it, almost like Bryan Adams - summer of
neilloggie
This song always sends shivers down my spine as soon as the crowd start to sing.

biffoire
if you ain't got the singer, you shouldn't have the song.
BigStu1987
He doesn't deliver that song in the same class as Axl. I was at Leeds 2010 and we got the full version as his set did end and it was sublime. And in fairness, yes Slash is Slash but the other guitarists in Guns now know how to play it very well. Slash with Myles Kennedy is a bit like Queen with Adam Lambert for me, if you ain't got the singer, you shouldn't have the song. I don't bands cover songs but that is a bit different to this, that is bands with no actual members of the one that did that song. gazza_20
I disagree as that would mean no Alice in Chains.
gazza_20
I see your point entirely, I have always loved Guns 'n' Roses and I have seen the new band twice now and will be seeing them again at the o2 on May 31st. I think the new band are superb, and yes the guitarists are great. I am not one of these people that compares new g 'n' r to the original band members new projects (Velvet Revolver in particularly). I just enjoy the music, and I get a kick out of seeing Slash and his band playing classics such as paradise city. P.s. I agree with you that no other person alive can perform this song as well as Axl Rose!
AcademicPistol
Slash is just known as the person that played guitar for those songs.
devilman
I'm going to see Axl n friends 2 weeks before Slash n friends and I excite at both! I've seen both and FWIW I think Miles is a far better singer BUT he doesn't have the presence or charisma of Axl, good or bad as that may be. I'll be singing my wee heart out at both and not caring about the rights and wrongs of it all. I even quite enjoyed Duff McKagan doing "It's so easy" and he can't sing for toffee!
