Nina frae Cumbria
Ooooo, simply wonderful! The arena was nowt but gorse and trees 12 months back. They've dug out the gorse and grassed areas to make lovely little clearings where the stages each sit in their own little areas. As this is not farmland there are things that can be done that you just can't do on farmland, so there's gravel paths instead of mud, lovely little rockery gardens, permanent wooden fences and handrails etc. There was loads to do for the kids and it was a really family friendly atmosphere, and it seemed there was very little aggro of any sort. Oh yes, and there was also music, of a good variety with stuff for all tastes. There was a range of food stalls from across the world and a few of the usual traders and various workshops.
