Newbie to Rockness, When should I arrive on the friday?

12 should be fine. The campsites start filling up from opening but there's plenty of space for everyone.

Arrived at 5 last year as got the Go Green bus from Aberdeen, first acts had already finished before we arrived - arriving far earlier this year.

Usually stay over at inshes gate premier inn in the camper on the Thursday night,then head along at about 9am or so,still usually pissed from the night before:)

This year were heading up Friday morning from fife so I'm thinking it'll be an early start! Anyone else here stay in camper area? Usually end up with a fair few folk we've met over at the truck for a bit.

Best place for camping are away from walkways and fences, done.

We got there for opening last year and ended up with a nice spot near the top of a wee hill, not camping this year but if I was I'd be aiming to get there early doors again

We got there at 4 last year cuz of the traffic, was stuck for about 90 minutes. Think we'll get there for about 11/12 this year, plenty time.
