jump
Fearne Cotton was pretty cagey about Green Day this morning on Radio 1, about half eleven. Said to listen to Zane Lowe's show on Wednesday night for some "very special news"...

mrtourette
It confirms that the damn t-shirt was correct about London so there's a good chance it could be correct about Reading.

sjseabass
It's great and all, this is exactly the sort of thing festivals need to do for buzz, to get back some of the lustre which seems to have been lost over the last year or two (and it's certainly worked this time) but I can't hide my disappointment about the clash with two of my favourite bands on main (Los Campesinos! and Blood Red Shoes). I mean, I'll be at Green Day of course (having seen the others three and four times respectively already), but I was really hoping it'd be when OFWGKTA or The Shins were on... I was expecting longer than 30 mins too - I mean, even if they literally only do new songs they've got three albums' worth of them. Justiceforcedave
Look at the times on the site, there isn't a gap like there is on the Reading one. You've got your 'awesome' Thursday night entertainment anyway.
Cieran
I just hope Green Day play a few hits.
rug568
when i come around/basket case/time of my life and a couple from American Idiot would do me fine.
mrtourette
If it's just a 20/25 minute set I think we can expect a lot of new stuff.
DTichborne
I tend to treat things like this with a pinch of salt but I think it's now fair to say that if it's a hoax, it's an extremely elaborate one.
rug568
yeah and why the hell would Reading play along with it by leaving a gap between PWGG and Pure Love? PWGG will probably get one of the biggest crowds of the weekend because of this!
