The point of BCR was to allow them to play songs that weren't 'Blink-friendly', so they weren't quite the same. They're pretty similar to Angels & Airwaves though I think, so I guess that would make them redundant. Would be nice to hear their songs played though. Same goes for +44 actually, they had a few songs I'd love to see played live.

Im gonna bring the conversation back to the FR stage slightly. Any chance of Gogol Bordello headlining? They played 6th down main last time they played, so slightly too big? I'd love to see them play in the tent.

They can attract a 40,000 crowd just by themselves.

Also don't see how they 'normally' play mid/high NME when they last two times they've played have been fifth on the main stage and subbing the NME.

Maybe punk pop is mostly about just having fun, a concept you obviously seem to struggle with. And Green Day have been going for 25 years now, that's a hell of a long time to be running on 'fake passion'.

Fair enough, you don't like it, each to their own. But attacking it and it's fans in such a way just makes you seem like a bit of a cock.

What do we think are the chances of nofx playing the fr stage? Still down as tbc on the rumours page and cant see where else they could fit in.

Oh I don't even listen to them and I definitely don't think it'd happen, they'd do 3rd down or sub in NME or something I suspect

Just throwing it out there in regards to the comments about size of crowd, it's possible that the other bands on we're w*nk and that could have contributed! Hahaa

I shot his Manchester gig in March, he was alright, but i shot the Sleigh Bells gigs later on the same night, and they just blew him out of my mind so i can barely remember it now
