Coachella 2013 tickets are out today, anyone thinking about going?

Me and a friend are gonna travel across for it and go to Vegas and NYC too, gonna be expensive but definitely worth it. Not camping as most people said it's unbearable heat in the tent so getting a hotel package with the ticket for £600. There's a payment plan with it also so don't need to pay it all up till January which is pretty helpful!

Me and 3 friends have just got tickets for Weekend 2. Cannot wait!

We're planning on camping in the festivals campsites, and we're a bit confused if any one can help, because it says that the general admission wristband gives access to the festival and camping areas, however there was a seperate tent camping ticket, which amidst all the hysteria we didnt buy in the advanced sale!

Can anyone tell me whether we need to get tent camping tickets in the general sale in a few months or whether we're ok?

Out of interest, roughly how much is it costing for you to do that? I'd love to go to Coachella but I've always thought the price would be too much...

You need them. The GA Arena Passes at $350 dollas you select separate from which camping choice. Below was an option to click Tent Camping which your car will be parked in an adjecent field and another which was Car Camping where you set up tent with your car in your space. GA/Shuttle Combo's too.

So if you only selected 4 x $350 dollas plan then you need more.

Yeah thats what I expected, all sense of reason was lost in ten minutes of hysterical fist pumping and back slapping! Thanks for clearing it up. Looks like we're going to have to wait for the general sale to get the tent camping tickets. I Knew things ran too smoothly ha

It says on twitter weekend 2 tent camping has sold out! Would that be the advanced sale allocation or the whole lot? Any experienced coschella goers know what that means? Or recommend a campsite nearby?

I'm a Coachella vet (2012 was my 7th).

The wristband will give you access to the festival and the camping areas. However, it doesn't give you the right to camp on your own spot (but you could camp with someone on someone else's spot).

To camp at the festival, you'll either need to purchase car camping or tent camping passes. They may release some additional car camping passes at the onsale (most were sold in the presale). To purchase a tent camping pass, call Frontgate Tickets at the onsale and ask to add a tent camping pass on to your ticket order. (Same with car camping if there are some available).

I have it on good word that some additional tickets will be released at the regular onsale time after the lineup comes out. I also have it on good word that these will probably sell out instantaneously...however, the secondary market was so flooded with scalper tickets this last year that it probably won't be hard to purchase one on the secondary market for nearly face-value in 2013.
