Hardly. It was fairly accepted at that time if you went to a 'Shambles gig, for one reason or another, it might not go ahead. Not that that is right, but it's the way it went. Considering he was locked up, it would have been slightly difficult for him to perform.

Bob Dylan - Braehead 2011. The most disappointed I have ever been in my life. Just awful. He needs to stop.

Airbourne - TITP 2010 and Aberdeen 2011.

Golden Silvers - They supported The Wombats back in 08. Genuinely the worst band I have seen live.

Hip Parade - Supported Stereophonics. It might have just been the secc's fault...

Devil Driver - SECC, supporting Machine Head. Everyone talks about BMTH. DD were worse...

Attack! Attack! - Roundhouse (supporting Alkaline Trio) - Terrible; rubbish performers and sound all over the place.

Alkaline Trio - Roundhouse - The exact same as their support act. I know now that Trio have a reputation for being terrible live and oh my they have earned it.

Team Ghost - Roundhouse (supporting Crystal Castles) - No crowd interaction and the musical equivalent of Horlicks.

LostAlone - Wembley Arena (supporting My Chemical Romance) - Fulfilling every convention of Funeral for a Friend-esque emo with all the charm and finesse of a 3rd place contestant at a school's Battle of the Bands.

Emika - Roundhouse (supporting Amon Tobin) - Just boring. Might have been good if you were on drugs; which everyone else was.

Beirut - Hyde Park (supporting Arcade Fire) - Little crowd interaction and couldn't tell where each song ended and the next one began.

The Offspring (Reading 2011) - Effortless. And not in the good way.

Glassjaw (Reading 2011) - Alienated both their own fans and the substantial amount of people waiting for Bombay Bicycle Club by playing the entirety of a new EP which didn't translate well live. I love Glassjaw and I'd never been able to see them before; they were one of bands I was looking forward most of the weekend to see and I was sorely disappointed.

Frank Turner (Reading 2011) - Was surrounded by dickheads and I didn't know the words; which is sort of fundamental at a Frank Turner gig. My friends loved it though.

Jayce Lewis - Shepherd's Bush Empire (supporting Gary Numan) - He had screens which he kept plastering his name over every 2 minutes between horrifically pretentious visualisations and danced like a Dizzy Dinosaur.

Blanck Mass - Brixton Academy (supporting Explosions in the Sky) - Played an uneventful drone through the speakers for 30 minutes with the strobes going off. The most interesting part of the set was when the PA cut out for 2 seconds and people thought there had been some musical progression.

Pendulum?? They are one of the best live bands on the planet!! I've seen them five times and they have always put on a show to remember, hence why I'll always go to see them on their UK tours. The crowd always goes nuts while watching them. Where did you see them play?? Coz I was just thinking they'd be a band that'd never be mentioned in this thread.

I've heard a lot of people mention them as being bad live. Two other acts which are quite easy to throw in this category are The Prodigy and Oasis. If you go and see them on a standalone show, it's quite likely you'll find them very very good. However, I'd put money on the fact The Prodigy rehearse their "crowd interaction" and then have the venue's name written on the amps, like the episode of The Simpsons with The Who,

That rules out the majority of frontmen of rock groups (i'm not even going explain why that's wrong though. And the second bit is objective, but I think the majority of people would recognise Babyshambles debut record at least on a par with The Libertines two.

Did a proper list.

Kids In Glass Houses - Supporting Manic Street Preachers at Truro Hall For Cornwall in 2007

Anti-Flag - Reading Festival 2008

Taking Back Sunday - Reading Festival 2008

MGMT - Reading Festival 2008

New Found Glory - Reading 2009

Lily Allen - O2 Arena, 2010 - Put no effort in the performance at all.

Sic Alps - Brixton Academy 2010, Supported Pavement. Quite a good band, but they were dreadful live.

Jack Johnson - Glastonbury 2010 - Dull.

The Gaslight Anthem - Reading 2010.. Dull.

Paramore & Blink 182 - Reading 2010.... Worst evening of music i've ever sat through. Expected more, and got the worst festival headline slot i've ever seen.

Paul Simon - Glastonbury 2011 - Dull.

Pendulum - Dreadful band, dreadful fans, dreadful music, dreadful live.

I rarely leave a gig/perfomance early except for the following:

Smashing Pumpkins - Manchester Apollo Nov 11 - one big ego trip for Billy, never seen a bar or toiet as packed halfway threw a gig.

Arcade Fire - Manchester Apollo March 2007 - sound problems meant most of the gig was listening to people shouting turn it up.

Oasis - Heaton Park - worst venue I've been to for a big gig, wouldn't go back there to see the Stone Roses/Oasis for free.

Iron Maiden - Sonisphere 2010 - set list was for fanboys not a festival, I've never seen so many people leave a headline set at a festival.

Paul Simon - Glastonbury 2011 - one of the longest hour of my life, I was bored to pieces in scorching hot weather and couldn't get out due to 80,000 people being sat on chairs at the Pyramid Stage

just a slight exaggeration there. ;)

I bailed with no problems, after realising that there was going to be nothing worth staying for.

30 seconds to mars at Leeds 2011. After watching a 10 minute video of them running about. Jared Leto comes out from the bloody floor, dressed like a messiah, with his arms in the air. His ego is so big and its a shame because the other two members were quite good. Then he doesnt sing one full song, every seconds he puts out his arms for the audience to sing. He does some stupid cult signs and sings 'The kill' badly and the audience miss-time the sing-a-long as he sings it in the worst way possible. Worst thing I have experienced in my life,
