Not the toilets behind waitrose, because I didn't want to see the MCR and a couple of the subs last year I ended my day in the arena relatively early, walked to waitrose for some munchies, bought them and decided a poo was on the cards.

I was directed to a toilet out in the carpark which can only be described as a crackhouse with shitters, pitch black inside, using my zippo I found the cubicle, no seat, no paper, and a syringe on the floor. Fantastic!

Went for it anyway (better than the longdrops) a few minutes in just as I'd finished my fag and was nearing the end of the rope, I heard two pissheads come in and start slurring about fuck knows but they didn't sound friendly, basically stayed quiet, finished, wiped with my boxers and sprinted out of the door before even flushing hoping they weren't in there to mug me.

I've got a strong stomach but the smell of fermenting sewage really throws me, I threw up one morning the first year I went I was gagging so hard.

I either wrap a scarf round my face, spray with deodrant and don't look down.

Or head into the pub outside red camp at 8am/ the spoons for a dump and a breakfast.

Trouble is I usually have about 3 shits in the morning and quite often one or two throughout the afternoon and one before bed. Worst is waking up at 4:30am when the chinese is coming back to haunt you, hanging and heading the the longdrops.

Arena shitters aren't bad but you'll miss a band queuing.

Equally for Leeds you can endure the long trek to the family camps of Brown/Green for a luxury long drop poo, they even have porcelain toilet seats! And isn't as disgusting given it's often full of families or the older generation.

Equally, haul yourself out of bed and go to the Arena as soon as it opens and go the portaloos, freshly cleaned and you can be one of the first person of the day to christen it with your post-cider log.
