I picked up 40 cans of Tennents today for £26 from Sainsburys.

Anyone know when the minimum alcohol pricing comes into effect? 50p a unit means crates of beer will go up to about £20 minimum.

Not finding many great deals, 20 cans of strongbow at ASDA for about £13 or something? Not bad I guess!

It's still going through parliament, I think they need to have a final vote and all that shite..

Total farce anyway, it's going to affect all the lovely nice ciders like Westons, Thatchers etc who all do stronger ciders.. and when it comes into England it will close a lot of local cider farms who sell out the barrel/

Oh and it doesn't even affect Buckfast which is a fucking disgrace considering that is a big part of the problem.
