Festival Beer/Cider

Anyone know what the beer and cider will be this year?

Hopefully not Tuborg again, really not a fan.

There will also be some sort of ale and real cider in Howards End again I would assume.

With there being an actual Kopparberg bar, will the normal bars not have another type of cider? I would imagine there will be a normal one too as (as far as i know) Kopparberg only have flavoured ciders really?

although i like kopparberg and it's definitely refreshing at a festival, i'm not too pleased with it being the main cider. it's too sweet to drink all day and i could see it being quite expensive for a pint.

i would rather have something like gaymers at the main bars and then a separate kopparberg bar.

This will be first ever festival where I will not like either the beer or cider.

Tuborg is horrible p*ss water stuff and Kopparberg is far too sweet, not tried there apple version mind you. So doubt I will be buying any pints at ALL. Hopefully some real ales there, will drink a lot of Drambuie as well.

Skunkfu, think it was £3.70 a pint...you get 10p back for returning the cup.

Feck man that is ridiculous! Sad thing is foh, some people will still pay for them, and they know that.

All the more reason to haul your own drink in!

You'll get 4 pins for about £15 I think, much like a lot of hotels etc I went to Field Day in London, they were charging £7 for those premixed Smirnoff/Bacardi/Gordons cans! Just nuts!

Oh god that is so expensive,I'm going to apple cart festival on Sunday which will be the same price as it is the sister festival to field day. I think it will be a very sober festival

Paul how do you know they will have apple kopparberg at the bars?

I'm hoping they will do quite a few different flavours, the pear cider is so sweet it's barely drinkable.

I don't, but if they are the main cider sponsor hen that's what will be there.

You would imagine they will have the apple cider at the Main bars. I've never been to a festival where you can't get apple cider.

I'm looking forward to an ice cold pint of Pear Cider first thing in the arena.
