well there's 3 days till I have to leave for inverness and because of a back injury it looks like I am going to have to miss the gig. I am on crutches over long distances and if it rains like fuck, I can't see me being able to do it for fear of falling/slipping and putting the disc out again. just had vertebrae straightened on Friday and all is not good in the hood.

can anyone tell me how the ground holds up in campsite when its been pishing down big time as it looks like this is going to be the case. does it turn into a total quagmire like glasto? I've never been at rockness when the rain has been seriously shit. the worst thing is it looks like Friday will be the first of the rain too, which is the last thing I need when moving booze and tents onsite.

I've never noticed it being particularly muddy at Rockness even when the rain has been quite heavy. It's certainly nowhere near Glastonbury standards. As long as it doesn't absolutely pour down for the three days and the days leading up to it, I'd imagine the ground will hold out pretty well in most areas.

nice one, that weather report doesn't look half as bad as the ones I've looked at recently. would fucking kill me not to go then find out it never even rained that much. gonna leave it till last minute I think before making Any decisions.

don't suppose anyone might have a spare pair of crutch crampons lying around?

Was looking at the satellite image on forescast.co.uk and it seems like a massive cloud is passing by on thursday night but should probably be gone by friday. hopefully...
