VIP Ticket in Normal Campsite

Hi,

Can't believe is so close to Rockness, I'm super excited. Just wanted to see if anyone could help clear something up for me...

I am going to the festival with a large group of friends, we all have normal campsite tickets, apart from one friend who has a VIP ticket, but they wish to camp with the rest of us in the normal campsite.

Firstly I think I am correct is saying this wont be a problem, as I'm sure I've known others who have done this before, please correct me if I'm wrong!?

Secondly, can anyone tell me if this friend with the VIP ticket will be able to enter the campsite via the normal campsite entrance rather than the VIP entrance? we are all traveling together and it would be annoying if they had to enter by the other way(as this seems to be very far away from the normal campsite entrance.)

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

Can't be 100% on it this year, as in previous years the VIP campsite was part of the main campsite and you had to go through it to get to the Arena.

This year VIP and Boutique camping have their own entrance and it's moved next to the arena so just depends on what pass system they have in place.

I've been trying to find out how to get to VIP too, as we are camping there but getting the happy bus in so the bus drop offs are miles from the VIP entrance, two very unhelpful emails from rockness later the best i could get out of them was

Your best bet will be heading to VIP through the campsite, it won't be more then a 10 or 15 minute walk. It is near the Arena so if you ask a steward as you're making your way there they will be able to direct you.

The map doesn't look like there is a way into VIP through the normal campsite, looks more like we would have to walk back down the road. Think the best bet is to ask them onsite as soon as you get there as i will be mega pissed off if i hump all my stuff through campsite and then have to go all the way back and around.

Here's hoping, that just looked like the main entrance from normal campsite into the arena to me, only way into VIP from there looked like from inside the arena, will find out in a few days i guess

Ah excellent, i imagine the site plan wouldn't change in relation to entrances so this is hopeful indeed. Cheers

Thanks for the help guys, it's the fact the VIP campsite has been moved that is causing me some concern, wouldn't want my friends to have to walk too far carrying all their stuff.

I've tired emailing rockness, but no response yet. If I here anything I'll let you know.

Got an e-mail response from a guy called Matt when I e-mailed info@rockness.co.uk

Says you have to access the VIP site from general via arena..

Then got a tweet from Jim confirming there is access to the VIP campsite via general through nesstival.. But that's not 24hrs is it? :S

Fook knows about getting your VIP passes at general entrance? :S

So where will you head first when you get off the bus.. that is exactly our issue.. VIP camping but not driving .. ???

Think after getting off the bus i am going to dump stuff off to the side and go and ask several different stewards and/or the box office, once i have a few answers that are sounding the same then we will start humping our stuff down to VIP.

Yeah looks like we will have to do that too.. seems insanity that they expect everyone in VIP to drive.. hmmm... We are thinking of taking a guitar.. but possibly not now..
