Good festival food?

OK, so we all know festival food is usually pretty expensive and more often than not, complete shit.

So has anyone got any recommendations on where to head for food thats actually pretty good.

I normally go for veggie stuff at festivals even though i love my meat normally as you at least pretty much know what will be inside the thing you will be eating.

Best thing I had last year with a Burrito. Was pretty filling and tasted awesome. Recommend it.

Need to find some other good stalls next year.

Over the left hand side of 2nd there were some good stalls that were different. Curries and other stuff. I get a full brekky in the F1 place at the start and that does me except for the odd hog roast baguette and curry/pizza. The german sausage places are good as is paella if they have it. I have always found teh noodle places to be shit. The one thing that T has over Download is the Healthy T area where you can buy really nice healthy food. I dunno about aphrodisiac but Loch Fyne oysters for lunch with tabasco clear away any hangover from the day before. Venison hot pot is to die for. Honest!

I always find the wrap place to the left of the second stage pretty nice, but most of the weekend i mainly live off of jacket potatoes

Was that the one that had an option of different types of chicken - jerk, tikka, garlic, lemon etc.?

That's the only one I found actually left me feeling like I'd eaten something!

It's a shame Muller stopped going as i always used to have about 6 pots of rice pudding for lunch every day.

I find some of the best food stalls are over by the 2nd, Moroccan curry place over the far side of 2nd and there is a veggie curry place right in front of 2nd.

Last year as you walk in the main entrance and carry on down the slope just on the right there was a real burger van,100% beef real salad of salmon fillet with lemon and dill sauce etc all for a similar price to the mass produced crap on some of the other stalls.

A few years ago a security guard gave my son a hand full of free meal vouchers that he didn't want so we ate pretty cheaply that year.

The rotisserie chicken guys tell me they're going for the first time this year. Always tastes great, good value and filling. Those potatoes....yum.
