Sound on Mainstage

Did anyone think it was really bad this year? We were quite close at Annie Mac and all you could hear was bass and then at Deadmau5 slightly further back it was quiet enough to be able to talk, didn't see much else on the main stage for the rest of the weekend, was it any better?

I thought exactly the same at Mumford and sons, and also deadmau5. Was able to chat away no problem at all.

I remember last year when the chemical brothers were on, having to shout at te person beside me and they still couldn't make out what I was saying!

Also remember some mad bass sound they put on which made the ground feel like it was

shaking! Disappointed this year on the sound front.

Looks like it depends on where your standing? Fair doo's,but with the technology to hand you kinda expect an even spread around the stage? It's been done for most years in the past.Blaring loud isn't always good, but being able to chat normally over the music shouldn't be the norm. Not for me anyway.

On a different note,I remember being at titp 2 years ago when it was awfy windy, just sounded shit with the speakers moving the slightest amount. Looked forward to skunk anansie for ages and there was just no treble/vocals.every 5 mins you'd get a whiff of it,then it just went quiet.

Nothing's perfect, still made the most of it
