I dont know why they can't wait to the end of the season to make a judgement. Some people discarding rvp but he is the difference between 1st and 2nd, it was mainly down to him that the gap built up. Suarez has undoubtedly been great but if you give it to him, you are giving it to a player who has helped Liverpool to come (probably) 7th when without him they may have been 9th. Bar pride, rodgers job and a few million extra prize money, does that really matter?

Evans is what? 5th choice at Man Utd? He wouldn't be in my first choice pairing at WHU if we signed him.

Luiz has strengths no doubt about it. Defending is way down the list of skills in his set...

Oh, and Jones I think could be a terrific player. But he ain't a midfielder as long as I have a hole in my arse.

Evans has been great when hes played. Luiz is a loose canon alright but when he plays well he plays very well.

True but I'm referring to the choices at that position. People in with a shout. Baresi, Cannavaro, Passarella, Scirea all in there.

But Bobby and Kaiser are generally seen as the top 2. Although Id have Baresi as my number 1 because I never saw the other two play.

Defenders are to hard to judge, if your in a top side your going to do a lot less defending than the likes of wigan and reading.

You only have to look at stoke and shawcross when everyone was hyping him up pre christmas and now stoke are leaking goals hes not mentioned.

Same with strikers, its all very well saying rvp but he has 4 or 5 good chances a game. What about the strikers who get less goals but alot less chances.

From the list theres only suarez whos been good all season. Bale, mata, hazard, rvp have been good on patches and carrick just not stand out enough.
