Theres going to be more and more of that happening. Didnt even realise clark carlisle was still playing, seems to be always on sky sports news defending someone.

How much of a hit have clubs had on players recently. United selling berba on for a loss of 25m, adebayor the best part of 20m loss, carrol will go for half his 35m fee. Also van persie wont have much of a sell on fee either

Delighted with my start to the season.

As a die hard Everton fan, today is something i can't get too excited about, but 5-0? wow thats impressive, Leyton Orient aren't the worst sides and i think they would have thought they could have gave it their all. 3-1 against Villa, our bogey team and then 1-0 united great start.

Having a season ticket for Málaga, i'm delighted to see us in the CL Group stages, hopefully we draw an english team AND celtic so i can go see them with the Guiri army!

And as Glastonbury is my fave place on earth, i follow the nearest pro team, Yeovil! Great start, some shrewd signings and Johnson back where he should be.

Up the glovers, Up The Toffees, Forza Málaga!

Finding it quite interesting how optimistic(happens every season) about a home draw and thinking its a new dawn for liverpool.

Like someone else has said on here, never been a problem against the big guns but the rest of the league. Lets see how they do afainst the stokes, southamptons of the world.

Oh c'mon .... anyone who's getting carried away after a 0-3 loss and a draw (no matter who its against) is stupid beyond belief. It's the equivalent of saying that Man Utd will defo lose the title after getting beat by Everton.

As Nal says, there's signs of promise - but it's also very clear that the squad as it stands at this moment is a long way from what Rodgers wants, and it's unlikely that all of the surplus will go. So a realistic expectation is a new dawn, just not necessarily a brighter one just yet.

Champions league draw today and there could be some bitches groups.

Used to be so predictable, now you have the big spenders in lower pots like man city, psg and malaga. City could could get rwal madrid or barca and I think uniteds going to get psg.

money took the competition out of football, so it's good to see some competition coming back again from money.
