Dour Festival 2012

First time I'll be going, and was wondering what to expect.

Last year I went to Pukkelpop and had a blast till the storm.

From what I gathered there is a lot of mud and drugs.

In my opinion is the worst festival and the worst atsmosphere of all belgian festivals. I went 3 years ago and promised myself not to go back again. Pukkelpop is hundred times better than Dour

What did you not like about Dour?

Rude people, overdrugged people, shitty astmosphere, lot of people looking for fighting, horrible venue, lot of pickpockets and people robbing in the camping area... the festival is full with rude xenophobic frenchie people... i recommend you rock wertcher, graspop, groezrock, pukkelpop... all great festivals in Belgium... Dour is the exception.

c'mon, that's not true at all!!!

It's one of my worldwide favourites (been to a lot of 'm!!)... Okay, organisation is not top, but that's what makes it cool!!

After all I'm going for the music... best line-up every year in my opinion... crowd is very wild!! love it! (and indeed, maybe because everybody is drunk or wasted... but don't you also love to be it? haha)!

Hoping for nice weather... really looking forward to kurt vile + the war on drugs, lone, destroyer, pantha du prince, actress, the ex, breakbot, polica, the pharcyde, midnite, mount kimbie, dilated peoples, cerebral ballzy, owiny sigoma band and so much more!!

You'll have a great time...!

Just don't expect a superorganised mainstream-event! but a dirty wild circus of fun!!

ps: johnybegood: maybe you should try to go once more... lot of things have changed in a few years...

(and I don't do drugs by the way).
