Does anyone have any recommendations of good festivals taking place anywhere in Europe during the first two weeks of august? Have 2 weeks to play with and trying to get a good festival in. Cristall Posted June 30, 2012 Report Share Posted June 30, 2012 If line up is the only thing your friends look for, maybe one of the Scandinavian festival (Oya, Flow, Way Out West, Smukfest) may be better to your taste. Or maybe one of the metal festivals (Metal Camp, Brutal Assault), if you and your friends are into metal. But when it comes to the total experience (the combination of line up, other kinds of entertainment, location, weather, beer price, atmosphere, length of the festival, etc.), I think Sziget is the best choice by far.
