Can't wait for this now, especially as the advanced forecast is still looking good!

Does anyone know if the shuttle buses run from Werchter back into Leuven on Wednesday evening? I arrive in Belgium on Wednesday at 7pm, and was planning to head to the festival site, get my wristbands, and then go back into Leuven on the Wednesday. Was going to risk buying my camping gear, etc. when I got there, so that I didn't have to check my luggage at the airport.

Any thoughts, guys?

Excitement levels are maxing out right now! Set off next Tuesday from the North of England, stopping off in Maidstone for the night (the hotel was cheap) then it's a casual drive for the ferry on the Wednesday. I've even street mapped the approach to the campsite on google so I know roughly how to get there.

Taking all my own food, and just 120 Euros for about 50 (small) beers!! Should be an ace weekend.

Yea I know, I was just joking :) But the population in Leuven is about 100k so it's a small city. But just across the street from the train station(where the shuttle busses stop) is a small supermarket where you can get beer, some food and stuff :) There is another a lot bigger if you walk Bondgenotenlaan(it's the name of the street, you can find it on maps.google.com) from the train station for about 10min...the supermarket should be on your left hand side.

I don't know about the walk from the bus to the A camping sites, but from bus to c camping sites it's a decent 10-20 minutes - remember that when you're planning on carrying stuff! Plenty of young'uns sitting for a break or dragging bags falling apart behind them.

If not flying and you're carrying heavy stuff one of those little trolley things is a godsend :)
