Why not, werchter seems to be very mainstream, do areosmith shift tickets in Belgium?

Editors are the fourth headliner. I don't know how I feel about that. They were absolutely fantastic this summer, one of the best headlining acts I've ever seen...but I would have chosen something new, a band that has'int played in a while.

Why do you say: "Belgium's biggest rock festival for 140,000 people" when there are only about 85.000 tickets each day?

I'll amend that, as it's what the blurb says - I'm guessing they're splitting day tickets into unique visitors and adding it to the total capacity.

Very suprised editors are back, all soubds a bit samey. If I go it will be my 4th in a row and editors playing 3 times. I love the editors but its a but overkill in my opinion.

Aswell as editor ramnstein and green day have both headlined recently.

RW are doing the same with Editors as they did with Kings of Leon a few years back...

Wouldnt say there weak especially in belguim. You got ramnstein one of the biggest metal bands out there, 2 legendry stadium sized bands in green day and blur, then editors one of the biggest bands in belguim.

Weak for your tastes maybe.

Yeah it is just my personal tastes, looking forward to seeing blur, grew up with them, but I already know they are pretty gash live! Ha!

And I just think repeating headliners is really weak by organisers, regardless of how big they are in Belgium! Mix it up a bit please!

was underwhelmed by editors headling last year. can't believe they are again this year. can't be any worse than rhcp for closing the festival though.

decent band, but don't get why they're so huge in belgium. odd.

doesn't change things for me though, still a top set of headliners.

Making me re-think what to do now :/ Not listened to the Editors that much so can't really comment on them but i'm not interested in Rammstein so that's 2 out of 4 headliners... Gonna wait and see who the subs are; if not for me gonna have to go for Benicassim or Glastonbury!

Very dissapointed with the annocement of editors personally. I mean don't get me wrong thats a heavy line up however i've seen every headliner, infact editors and blur twice.

It seems a shame one of the biggest festivals in europe is repeating its headliner, would of been cool to see something differnt.

Ow well, might try another european festi next year anyway

Every festival has to take abuse about their headliners at some point, either for being repetitive or for trying to have variety by putting on headliners that 'aren't big enough to headline'. There are too many festivals around to mean that every mainstream/commercial festival can have original headliners that are also impressive and surprising every year, and this year look like Werchter's year to struggle on that front (on one day at least).

Nobody(except the organizers) knows that. My guess would be that they'll wait for a few weeks now that they have one name for each day. But I think the sub-headliners and the dance acts will be big. Bands like The Killers, Sigur Rós, Soundgarden and Stone Roses as sub-heads and Daft Punk, The Prodigy and 2ManyDJ's as dance-acts would more then make up for the repeat of Editors for me
