well if you mean Hektors ale then there is two variations and the stronger scarecrow is normally £0.20 more than Hektors Pure.

Just to confuse things even further at Latitude { where Hektors family own the land } Hobgoblin http://www.wychwood..../hobgoblin/home was also on sale - I was told it was a 25/75 split in favour of Hobgoblin so there must be a sponsorship deal in place but due to the bloody mud at Latitude I never got about as much as I normally do so I never reached the guy who handles the sponsorship deals.

Normally there is a real ale outlet near the NME signing tent/NME Stage as its not clear if real ale will be available in every bar { as bar details will not be sent out until a few days before the event }

Yeah I remember there being two ales of differing prices, but only saw ale for sale in that bar next to the main one at the R1/NME stage (although I think there's an ale bar in the white campsite as well).

Your right I was forgetting about that bar { white camp site } as I tend not to work in the public bars anymore so its the only bar that I have never worked in nor in fact have I ever seen it - every year I keep saying I will have a look but I will at some point in time - as its a fair old tramp I will hitch a lift on one of the stock buggies which sounds a far better idea than trying to walk there.

The WBC places ale in bars where they think there will be demand as ale sale is always a tiny percentage of lager/cider sales - I always advise people if they are not sure to always check the price board - yes I know they all look the same but in fact it will be a accurate reflection of what is on sale .

I normally work in the crew bar and this year the big seller was Hobgoblin which overtook cider sales so there may be a rethink at Reading/Leeds but due to the small size of kegs they can never compete with lager/cider sales due to the time it takes to change kegs { compared to massive tankers for lager/cider }

Incedently pints at the festival bars in Edinbrugh at £3.80 or so.

There is a back route but sometimes there is no entry gate for staff and since the WBC started using shuttle buses its years since I last looked + as I have had two heart attacks I am not going to wander about when I can get a lift in the stock buggie.

No actually its all good. The Reading site has been updated to say exactly the same thing. Breakfast bap, huge improvement over a buttie tht wud probly only contain a few chips

Wow. Thats some sneaky ploy there so they can impose a time curfew on claiming your 'bap' and get away with it. Unluckily for them I'm always up at the arsecrack of dawn and down in the arena just as it opens. Reckon I can claim 5 or 6 at a time using everyone else from my camps tokens?

It sounds like they will be having a seperate bar for the free beer run by Hotbox Events to hand out the free bottles though I guess it will become a little clearer when the site map's are updated on the official website, hopefully this week.
