T in the Park

Came back from the weekend at Balado to see what everyone else was thinking of the weekend etc to find it had been taken offline completely, why?

I understand that the chap who runs the site was getting a bit of a tough time from the people, but why bring down the whole forum for what was infact a very small minority?

Now on any other forum I have if anyone causes to much bother to the fact where the owner of the site would rather take the forum down the user gets banned, this usually works out well due to the fact it allows everyone to carry on with there discussions etc, as it is the second most posted on festival on this site has been taken down? Surely the traffic will now reduce on this site? I for one only came onto this site for the T in the Park forum, and well there's little point in coming back on it, I'd imagine there will be a few others in the same boat.

From where I standing there seemed to be like an awful lots of solutions to the problem, and taking the whole forum off-line wasn't really a viable or a smart one. I wish eFestivals all well and good for the future etc.

EDIT: Reading the mods reply to other threads about this... He claims that people are getting the wrong info from the T forum but if i didnt come across the forum I would of been hopeless. It helped me out so much in planning what to take, where to go, what to do. He was getting abuse from a small amount of people and if you can't take that then you can't be a mod. Why not ban the minority fo people annoying you but instead deletes the whole forum punishing the innocent ones!

There were too many dick heads trying to impress girls by being complete and utter c**ts this year. full of absolute ghouls caked in make up and dressed in full leopard print and only there to see niki minaj, even though i had an absolute amazing time with my friends i dont think titp is going down a route of which i shall be venturing on again.

And aye, you did have a very vocal minority who were being dicks to eFestival, but I think that it is harsh that instead of banning them and moving on, the forum has been taken of completely.

Not gonna lie, the TiTP forum last year helped me allot for my first time at T, If it hadn't been for the forum I would've been screwed, there are going to people in the same boat next year, going to there first T, needing help and advice and this will be the ideal place for them to learn.

Moan t'fuck eFestival, ban the arseholes and gies the forum back, if need be get another mod so you don't have to go back on it, but don't let a minority ruin it for the majority.

I was told that this T had the worst ground ever at a t in the park? Thursday and Friday it held up because the weather was quite good but Saturday after that rain that went on endlessly turned it into a complete mudbath. I'm not complaining.. the weather did not stop me from having a good time. Apprently all through nicki minaj, she was booed. I hope so.

I'm sporting a black eye from taking a beating off of a 6 foot berserker. Him and his mate decided to start on some poor guy and his girlfriend, me and my mate hopped in to give them a hand and it didn't go too well. This was during the Kaiser Chiefs btw....right after I predict a riot. Not even kidding. Don't understand why people get so drunk and angry, you're supposed to be there to have a good, safe time and have fun, not be beating each other to a pulp. Apart from that, the rest of the festival was fucking ace.

what you're missing is that I don't have to take the abuse and I don't have to run that forum.

And after 13 years of it, I've had enough. Why should I have to play mummy to morons who have yet the learn the most basic social skills? I've got other things I'd prefer to be doing, and I don't give a shit about any loss of income there might be to me because of my choice.

It's only the T forum that has had these problems, constantly. So I've made those problems go away.
