Reading I can see as an opportunistic/last minute deal festival for a lot of people as its no hassle to get to & can you be in & out (& even home) in the weekend ie you don't need a great deal of planning like Glasto. Now tickets have sold out I think people won't bother with the (possible) increased prices of ebay as if they wanted to go they'd have their tickets long before now.

Ticketline and Gigantic also showing Saturday day tickets as sold out, although seetickets are still selling them.

I just got two Leeds tickets for £160 each! I was hoping that I'd be able to get them cheaper but it's still money saved I suppose

There were a lot of people (even on here) who were expecting it to be like last year and get a dirt cheap tix at the last minute and if no one is intrested then there wouldn't be an increase in tix prices on ebay, viagogo etc.

Huh. Guess that's me possibly not going. Might look into train prices up to Leeds if I can nab a ticket moderately cheap, think my cousin's going there and I can blag a lift from the station, and could probably still blag hot showers and decent food if I decide I cba camping.

Last year I grabbed a ticket on the Thursday morning for £90. I wanted to get something similar to that price again.

Would it be worth popping down on the Thursday this year to the site to try there? I had that £90 sorted before I left the house that day though.

It's an indicator if anything, but how much have Reading tickets been tout wise on the Thursday. Have there been any around in the evening?

Normally I'd pay the whole £160 or however much they've been reselling for, but I'm on a shoestring budget and The Cure, At the Drive In and Foo Fighters is proving a bit too much.

I've just paid double on ebay what I did for a Reading ticket last year. £180 vs £92. I'd been hoping for around £130 a month ago, but with it sold out I feel I've done well. If I'd spend more time and been more patient I probably could have got it down to £170, but I've realised I'm pretty committed to going.

I think £170-180 is about right. Just had a nosey on the Reading facebook page & can't believe the number of girls moaning about missing Paramore.

To be fair, to still be getting tickets for around £170-£180, when the festival has 'Sold Out' and the face value after booking fees is just over £200 isn't too bad!!

I'm still hopeful of getting a ticket for less than £150. I just saw a weekend ticket with early entry go for £165!!! I don't have the funds until Tuesday so I'm assuming they will have come down a little by then.

Finally bought my ticket - £150 on eBay. Anyone else manage to get a bargain? I imagine they'll be going for much less on Thursday but I want to have got there by then.

Oh god, why didn't I know about this viagogo deal?! It seems not many people do. Some tickets are still going for up to £200 on eBay!!!
