Benicassim 2013!

Seperate tents 100% - the heat and uncomfortable factor is x10 worse if you have bodies around you! You can also make your own little area by positioning your tents.

£140!? Bare in mind each day at Beni is like a beach holiday in the day, then an all night party on the night.

Personally I will get through about £300that will include a few beers down the beach, trip to waterpark, couple of meals out, breakfasts in the morning. Nothing too lavish tbh.

Even if you are only there Thursday-Sunday I just don't see how you could enjoy yourself in 'holiday mode' you would have to be really really careful.

I don't want to say you couldn't do it but you will be walking everywhere, drinking 4 euro vodka and eating bread and ham!!!!

Hey guys,

First time poster. I have trawled through the whole thread, just want some clarity on a few topics.

Anyone know the best/cheapest way to get to Beni from Madrid? I hear about trains, but going on the Renfe website gets me nowhere...

From what I can tell, there are quite a few shops that are close by. Are places like Lidl and these cheap shops where I could buy a lilo to sleep on walkable from the campsite?

On the subject of shops, can I actually buy shit like a cooler, lilo/mat to sleep on, and any other random stuff in there, or will the place be bare by the time I get there on Tuesday evening?

Looked at a map of the site, are there any camping areas which have no shade/where is best to set up shop to get shade?

May think of some more later, but if anyone could answer any of these it would be a great start!!

Renfe's website has to one of the worst out there. I've managed to book our journey back to Barcelona on the train we wanted but last time I checked (an hour or two ago) the train that we want to get to Castellon still wasn't showing as they seem to have only put half the trains up on their website. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the 11:00 train on the Thursday from Barcelona Sants to Castellon will be running that day?

Renfe is a terrible website and very difficult to understand but found this website last year which makes the whole process a lot easier. travelling by train is definately a lot more comfortable and on the whole cheaper than organised coaches. Booking trains are usually available from 2 months in advance...

A few local acts and smaller bands start around 7-8pm

Main acts start 12 midnight and continue to 5-6am (some decent bands can be on slightly earlier, The Horror's last year came on around 9:30-10pm if i remember right)

somebody else may be able to be more specific than me but this is the general timing. Hope that helps
