My mate when with his girlfriend last year and the both a had a great time with no problems as we all did and never saw a bit of trouble, everyone was really friendly and just out for a good time. Hopefully the same again this time round!

There is an amazing beach, a water park, go kart track and plenty of bars/restaurants to keep you occupied in the days leading up to the music and even in the days when the music has started as well as just meeting loads of new people and having a good laugh around camp.

I'd recommend having a wonder round the town when you arrive, take a look at the beach and just get a feel for your surroundings. I think we plan to get camp set up then take a walk down the beach for a few hours before heading back with some ale from supermarket before visiting a couple of bars. We'll probably spend the days lazing on the beach or on a grassy shaded area which there are plenty of. I think we'll be going to the water park on the Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how we are feeling :suicide: .

I found the local people to be among the friendliest I've come across, they can't do enough to help you, be it ringing taxi's, letting you charge phones or just lending a bit of advice.

I had literally had the best time of my life last year, if this year even comes close to last then I'll be happy!

11 days and counting!

If I know there's a band's tour on sale on a friday, usually pre sale is either wednesday or thursday. I just check twitter at 9 in the morning and search eg 'arctic monkeys presale' or even 'arctic monkeys' and either ask for someone to link me or someone has already put a link up and go go go! Try it tomorrow incase anymore pre sale come out :)

Hi first time going to beni and just wondering whether its necessary to arrive on the Monday to camp, we are thinking of staying in a hotel for a few days before and arriving on wednesday but don't want to miss out on a camping spot!! Also does everyone have to fill out a camp resignation form?

Thanks

You don't have to arrive on Monday to camp, just means you might not get a spot with shade which was the case for my mates who turned up on the Thursday last year. Everyone who is intending to camp has to fill out the camp registration form and people have said you get a separate camping wristband this year.

There was an email about presale to website members yesterday. However, the link was never emailed out, I believe it was simply put on the website when you logged in. I found it on twitter though, and Sheffield sold out first, now it looks like they all have in presale.

So I've been stitched up by my pals and really don't know what to do...

I either don't come to Benicassim which will break my heart or I grow a pair and go alone in the hope I meet people who are friendly enough to invite me along.

Any suggestions i'm so stressed :(

ahhhhhh today is indeed a good day! Monkeys tickets and Beni resurrection!

anyway I asked a few pages ago, so sorry to repeat myself but anyone know anything about lockers? didn't need them last year but really do this year- any idea of when they're gonna be onsale and at what price etc? also dya get them for the whole week or is it pay per day?

anyways, really cannot wait! I know the music side actually isn't that significant in the grand scheme of the Beni experience but AM are my favourite band, the new QOTSA album does funny things to me and just re discovered Hot Fuss. bring it onnnnnnnn

No drug in the world could top the high I was on that night. Not sure the nou camp is all it's cracked up to be. Of course it's something to see but from being there for the away leg and speaking to folk about the tour, many folk just said it was quite impersonal and boring, just like going round a museum and few well staged photo opportunities.
