T in the Park 2013

Think people have missed my point. I don't feel that they are a great booking but there are nieave people out there who thought it was a poor booking suddenly jump on the Glastonbury hype and saying its a great booking.

I'd say it looks like a weaker headline for Glastonbury much more than it does for TITP.

just to clarify though, I do not have a flight booked to Aus tomorrow haha and I'd probably have to be boarding it now to be there tomorrow lol. Work don't give me that much holiday

Suppose if Mumford and Sons can headline Glasto they can headline anywhere, don't know about them being last on though, fair enough they'll appeal to quite a few folk but not sure they are the band to pull out one of those last sets of the fest kind of things.

Gaslight Anthem also announced as support for The Killers Wembley show, wouldnt rule them out either

Glastonbury can pull off these line ups because its a bigger festival than TITP with more people attending meaning there's more money involved. TITP is nothing compared to Glastonbury.

Hopefully there's a few more additions to the TITP line up because its looking more like TOTP than TITP. The line up just looks average to me as if the main headliners are still to be announced, hopefully this is the case.

He is into the same music as me, and becasue he has been into music so long most of his friends are just catching up, so we hang out together. Its worked so far we are best friends as well, although he will be getting ready for university next year so I think this will be our last year....

I was the same with my Dad he is a big big music lover into alsorts so i grew up a respect for amazing music and bands the two of us came together with music in my early teens , i was heart broken seeing him leaving with my uncles going to T 94 to 96 without me i was too young..yeah yeah dad you just wanted to get loaded (kid free weekend) he promised he would take me when i was 14 for T97 and we went together till 2001 we still go to gigs and smaller festivals together

This will be his sixth T... he loves from woody guthrie to slipknot....

he was ten at his first, we also go to gigs together which makes it expensive for me hahaha

Would also like KT Tunstall and Newton Faulkner both they're booked for Wickerman and RockNess so that probably rules them out.

Overall, thought it wasn't the most impressive Glastonbury line up by their standards. Still lots of great bands but they didn't seem to have as many huge names as I remember in the past.

The festival finishes on Sunday night, if you are camping you can still camp Sunday night and leave by around 12pm on the Monday.

He actually wouldnt be seen dead at T now thats why he stopped going years ago , slags me for going the git , the only way you will get him back to T is if 4 acts play , Smashing Pumpkins , Radiohead, Pearl Jam or Bowie himself comes

He wants to do Glastonbury for his 60th which will be next year , happy days
