Thats why last year was disappointing and I thought it was amaybe a one off, but the pop route seems to be the way forward for Geoff. Just not for me after this one.

All I can say is just seen Biffy in Glasgow! Why they are they not headlining T I'll never know! The show they put on was amazing! Best Scottish band by a mile!!!!!

Is it bollox. Last year had a few decent bands with a small amount of rock. This year has cock all except the Stereos who have been there that often that they've started speaking with Kinross accents.

Exactly right. The acts being booked have changed by the popular music that follows over the years, wether it be rock, chart stuff or whatever it is.

In fairness, if you like rock acts why on earth have you been going to a mainstream festival like T which just follows what is universally popular at that time? in 2009 "rock" was the most popular genre so there was more rock, now "pop" is definitely and undoubtedly the most popular.

So if you are a bigger fan of rock why haven't you been going to Download? Just out of interest...

Could be because in the past T in the Park provided the biggest names in rock alongside the mainstream/pop acts. Can't think of many of the biggest rock bands of the last 20 years that haven't played T?

It's only been in the last few years that there has been fewer and fewer big rock bands on the pill, which is why people are becoming increasingly critical of this.

It's not even the last few years. It's the last 1. 2012 was sparse but 13 is completely devoid. Download is a metal festival so it might be a bit much for the average rock fan but then again there is always enough variety to keep most happy. Just like there used to be at T. I love it, it pisses over T in many ways. It's just a shame it's a 9 hour drive but the way we split that up makes it almost fun with an overnight on the way down and associated shenanigans.

T is what it is nothing less nothing more , yeah the line up has gone down hill but we still always go , this is defo my last year for a while , Glastonbury for us next year

In saying that i might do T along side if the money is there , can see myself sitting watching it on telly going awwww T i wish i was there lol

If you're happy to pay the £200+ for the ticket, and continue to do so when the line up is not to your taste, then you've only yourselves to blame.

Plenty festivals get shown on the telly, doesn't mean I watch them all thinking aww I wish I was there

People keep buying tickets, then DF will keep putting on the same dross to sell those tickets.
