So, do we think they are going to announce any headliners before the December sale?

Last year we got the Stone Roses announced about this time, and the year before the Foo Fighters and Coldplay.

I won't be buying tickets until I know the lineup is at least going to have some acts I'd pay to see. I'm swithering over holding off and going to another festival if the lineup doesn't suit my taste.

If no acts get announced before the sale in December I think they will struggle to shift tickets before February.

There will almost certainly be an act announced before the Dec sale probably towards the end of November but I cant see it being more than the standard one we always get

Yeah I'm thinking mid November maybe 3rd week of November so T can then promote the shit out of that headliner

Yup, the biggest header they have. If it is for eg, KOL, GaGa and Green Day then I'd expect GaGa to be 1st announced.

I would say green Day are bigger than GaGa and Honestly cant see her coming as she will proberly start work on her new album when she finishes in march/april and she will need time to rest

Oh if Blur are playing then yes of course they will be the big 1st ticket shifter. Probs sell out with them alone haha. It'd be Blur, GaGa, Green Day if they play I think, that's 3 very solid bookings.

Blur would certainly be welcome back as they didn't do a full set last time due to the circumstances on the day.

Foo Fighters AND Coldplay were both announced as headliners for the December sale a couple of years ago, so it would probably help sales if more than one big name were announced.

Well Kasabian were announced first for 2010 and I would say Eminem was by far the biggest that year, obviously he might not have been booked by then of course

Only the Foos were announced for 2011, Blink self confirmed so that was why they had 2, Coldplay were announced in the Feb announcement, I really only see us getting one

If they end up doing more UK shows maybe, which will depend on the new album, I guess...Can't see them doing a one off as one of them has a fear of flying, so it takes weeks to get over here
