Any mention of the Pet Sounds Arena just makes me wish I'd been older and been at TITP 2007 to see Brian Wilson headline that stage

Also makes me wish TITP would announce The Beach Boys to headline next year even though there's no chance of it happening.

jack white, qotsa and plan b would be a strong set of rockness headliners imo

would take quite a bit away from T too

I was going to say surely Guetta would need headline spot for his light show but that doesnt seem to matter always as proved by the woeful placing of chase and status this year

While i agree totally, when that was around the lineup of both the pet sounds and other stages had at least some correlation, im talking like king

tuts having a completely different lineup while the main and nme had your standard pop/indie on as usual

That could work, would be good if you had an artist/band curate it for the day and then headline to finish off

Thing is the key bit in that news article is this.

"T boss GEOFF ELLIS booked the band after they topped a poll of the festival’s punters"

People often forget the man best placed to realise what the people of T want and need is Geoff, the poll at the end of the year is filled in by thousands and chances are if an act tops the bill then Geoff trys to book it, in this case the most wanted act is the Killers so he's booked them.

You'll still have people moaning there c**t of about it on here though, as usual.
