on the basis of subs im thinking Biffy headlining the NME stage against Mumford and sons on the friday.cant think of anyone else act wise besides Paramore, The Gaslight Anthem, 30 seconds to mars, Owl City, bruno mars and bloc party

I expect to take a pounding for this but I went to see Mumford & Sons tonight in Glasgow and they were brilliant.

They need to tighten up in between songs a bit but if they can do that I have every faith they can play a great headline slot.

For the 20th anniversary they have actually announced more than one band before the new year thats whats special this time

Avicii, Chemical Bros, The Prodigy to headline the nme? wouldn't be surprised if Avicii headlines king tuts though.

They've punted the arse out of their new record this year, doing two UK tours as well as R&L and loads of European festivals so maybe will have a break next year. Although perhaps the lure of a decent Glasto slot will drag them back over and T can take advantage.
