Just heard a mate say this as well about stereophonics. They must be a stick on for a sub spot or NME header. They'd do great against Rihanna.

Watching them then Eminem a couple of years back is one of my best memories of my 5 T's.

Also heard a bit of their new single, sounds great.

Yeah same about Phonics, I defo think that is one of the Nme headliners and Gparsfan there is little to no difference between subbing main and heading nme its an almost identical placing

There almost the perfect band for T. They'll satisfy alot of the anti pop fans whilst they still have enough of a catalogue of familiar tunes for the casual and young fans.

Really hope they headline NME.

although these intimate gigs show that kelly doesnt have as big an ego as people think... could they maybe even headline tuts ?

Damn you all, I was so gutted I couldn't get tickets for Stereophonics. I'd love if them or Biffy did NME against Rihanna.

EDIT: Their set from this tour looks brilliant as well, good balance between new stuff and older albums.

Stereos are another band that should excite me but after seeing them live at least 4 times they just don't. Dunno why, I can't put my finger on it. You hear their songs on CD or radio and think yes, that would be brilliant live, all full of passion and everything and then when it's played live it's like they're just going through the motions. Obviously if I was there and they were against Rhi Rhi then I would have to go watch them again. I'd probably go down the front and squash myself against something cute to enhance the experience though. With added extra cider too.

Reading this back you could delete stereos and insert Biffy. Neither would get me to buy a ticket but I'd watch them if I was there. Biffy try harder on stage and take their tops off and everything. This is the sign of true masculinity, virility and awesomeness. It's a shame one of them looks like the ginger kid off of Harry Potter.

Not overly exciting addition but a lot better than what's been announced before them. Always fancied them as a Belladrum headliner for some reason

I think i said this last year but The Flaming Lips would be great don't imagine that they would play with the looks of things but i think they are in Europe/UK around the time next year so it could be possible. Would be a great NME/King Tuts headliner. King Tuts because hardly anyone who goes will know them

Without ooening a can of worms but people moan about rihanna being pop and then they mention stereophonics being quality.
