Sounds pretty shit tbf, imagine bringing it up with you mates.

"Aye lads, I know that it sounds weird, but I really want to go hang our with some randoms from the internet! I'm sure it'll be much funner than bring with people I actually I know and like!"

Aype, sounds brilliant.

Indeed. I've been on internet forums since 95 and in that time have met quite a lot of people through common interests. I'm glad I did and I'm firm friends with a lot of them now. Incidentally one guy that was a bit of a stroker online turned out to be a real good lad. That was a shock! I realise though that it is tough for immature people to break ranks with their homies and have a conversation with someone who doesn't wear the same brand of hoodie.

I love Biffy, but actually I'm not sure I want them o appear this year. If they held off, and ended their touring cycle for the new album with a headline slot in 2014 or 2015, it might be better. A big, proper celebration for the album and finally getting the headline position. There certainly wouldn't be any doubt over whether they're big enough or not by then as well. And it would be four years or so since they last appeared at the festival.

In theory that is ideal but what if the album bombs and people lose interest in them, double albums are notorious for being poor and despite the first couple of songs being really good I am still concerned how the whole album will be, so they might just take the chance to headline NME and if the album does really well then they can headline in 2014 or 2015 still
