Why am I not excited yet?

Just over 2 weeks to go and I am not getting the same pre-festival buzz that I normally have.

Reading has had some fairly average lineups over the years, but I have always got excited as we entered August.

Please help me find some reasons to be cheerful in the build up to what could be my last ever Reading Festival and help me forget that the 2 bands that I want to see the most are clashing (Foo Fighters and Less Than Jake).

I am excited about Download the whole year round. Surely Reading should give me a buzz a few weeks before it starts!?

To me the "changeable" weather that we've been having means it doesn't really feel like summer has started yet and as Reading is the end of summer I can scarcely believe in two weeks I'll be charging down the M40 dicussing how we're not going to get too drunk on the Thursday in the full knowledge that we will

Just think of the 2hour Foo Fighters set on the Sunday Night that makes me smile

I dont normally get excited til a few nights before. Try watching a few past sets on youtube, that normally works for me.

I'm the same, but it's mostly been because I've only just convinced the girlfriend to come after everyone has either just not bothered getting a ticket because of the lineup or sold theirs on. Frustrating.

I know the Foos and Cure will be amazing, so I'm happy with the lineup, I'll always feel like I get my moneys worth.

I'm ridiculously excited! It's my third time this year and I seem to get more and more excited as I get older! For those of you that are struggling, try watching the 'best bits' videos from previous years, it's always worked for me.
