Tents in the Campervan field?

Hi all.

I know the rules say no tents - awnings only, but does anyone have any experience on how strictly they enforce this? There is only going to be 4 of us on the pitch, so not breaking the rules on that front!!! Do you think we will get away with it?

Do you have a van? if your in a car I think you might have a bit of trouble, if you have a van I doubt you would have much of a problem as you could be sleeping in the van (I've seen allsorts there)

It all depends on the people working there to be honest, we have a campe rvan and always put up our gazebo, if we attempt to put it up early we usually get told to take it down but by around early evening the security has usually had enough and can't be bothered.

Yeah we are in a VW, so only enough sleeping room for two! Dont really want to splash out on an awning if we dont need to :-)

We did campervan field a few years ago for a couple of years.....

we took cars and i think on both occassions, they asked us to take them down but never actually made us. Probably good advice to wait till later but as i said, they tend to tell everyone to take them down and make an example of one group and hope everyone else will follow.

If you got a vw you will be fine, just put the tents up later on and by then there will be all manor of things up and they wont care.
